This agreement, reached within the framework of the Social Dialogue, complies with the Government’s mandate to develop measures for equality and non-discrimination of LGTBI+ people that are necessary to continue advancing in the protection of this group within the company.

Measures of the new agreement for equality of LGTBI people

It is known that, from the moment the norm comes into force, it will be obligatory for companies with more than 50 employees to agree with the legal representation the specific measures that will support this agreement in each organization.

Among these measures we will find the obligation for companies to integrate specific modules on the rights of LGTBI+ people into their training plans, with special attention to equal treatment and opportunities and non-discrimination.

These trainings will be obligatory for the people who make up the departments. of HR and those in charge of carrying out personnel selection processes in the company (whether they are part of the HR team or not).
