ROYAL D-L 2/2023, of March 16, on urgent measures for the establishment of a new public pension system.

This regulation aims to expand pensioners' rights, reduce the gender gap and establish a new framework for the sustainability of the public pension system. The regulation includes measures such as the gradual increase of the maximum contribution base, the introduction of a solidarity contribution for those with incomes above the maximum base and the replacement of the sustainability factor by a new mechanism that guarantees the stability of the system.

Its general entry into force is 1/04/23, although for certain changes, a much longer transition period is provided, which we will indicate together with each of the measures summarized below:
